Coming out of a busy holiday season and trying to catch your breath? For my fellow harried homeschool moms, here’s a modern take on Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every aspect of life under heaven:
a time to pull back and a time to get involved
a time to bless your home and a time to reach out to others
a time to plant and a time to reap
a time to read and a time to write
a time to abide in His presence and a time to shout His praises
a time to go deep in the Word and a time to walk out your faith
a time to be blessed and a time to be a blessing
a time to slow down and a time to run without growing weary
a time to plan and a time to execute
a time to close doors and a time to open windows
a time to live and a time to breathe!

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens;
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weeap and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NIV

Sit, put your feet up and relax. Take some time to remember why you are homeschooling during this season.
