Life has a way of knocking us down, leaving us struggling with the day-to-day demands. Sometimes it’s physical, sometimes it’s mental, and sometimes it’s emotional. Maybe money is tight, or your children have discipline issues or problems in their learning. The greatest thing we can do as homeschool parents is not to lose heart and give up! The best way to combat these issues is to pray over your homeschool!
Pray over your homeschool when you have family relationship difficulties, character issues, perseverance problems, need help with encouragement, or when choosing a curriculum.
Since God watches over us, we can be confident that he also watches over our homeschool. Praying over your homeschool won’t make all your problems disappear in a flash, but it will bring peace that transcends all understanding!

“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” Deuteronomy 6:6,7
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2 NIV
So whatever challenges and trials come your way, there’s always hope! Bring your cares before the throne by praying over your homeschool wholeheartedly and with confidence!
