Q. When you have a larger family and homeschooling all of them will take a LOONG time – how do you retain your enthusiasm for the long haul?
A. I only have 4 children, and 6 years between oldest and youngest, so I guess that means my homeschooling journey will possibly be around 18 years – you may well have more – depending on how many children you have and how far apart each child is. But still, this has been something I have been aware of in myself.
The thing that keeps life interesting is the individual-ness and uniqueness of each of my children. Not one of them are the same – some of them may be similar but not the same. I had initially intended to find the best way to homeschool and to do it that way for the whole journey – it hasn’t worked that way!!
