Health. It’s on everyone’s mind these days! But how do you live a healthy life? If any of you lack wisdom, ask God! It can be an all-encompassing and exhausting issue between staying healthy or getting healthy. But does it have to be? Not if you live according to what the Bible says about health and healthy living.

The Bible is our life and guide book giving us the keys to health and healthy living. If you want to bring health to your body, Proverbs 3:1-2, 8: says, “My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones”. Awesome, right?

When you are in need of healing, these scriptures are there to build those spiritual and physical muscles of health!

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds, you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

“But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes, we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

Joy and pleasant words are also healers!

“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Proverbs 17:22

“Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul, and health to the body.” Proverbs 16:24

Anxiety cannot stand!

“Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Even for those who are weary!

“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might, he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted, but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:29-31
