Every once in awhile I like to share with you the curriculum we are using in our homeschool. I do this mainly to show you what it is like to be an eclectic homeschooler. Many styles of homeschooling exist, and I am one of those who likes to pull from different sources and different resources depending on what meets the needs of my family. Picking and choosing for each subject and each student is doable and for me extremely freeing! I feel like I am in control of my children’s education, which as a parent, is important. Below is the list of grades for the four kids I am homeschooling this year and the curriculum I am using for each of them! Some of these classes are new to us in 2020 while others are tried and true ones that we have used for years!

As you can see I like to double up some of my kids on classes. Gone are the days of trying to do every single subject separately with every single student. Also, my older two are starting to get too old to sit in on the younger kids lessons so I basically split up the older ones from the younger ones and go from there. I also have been incorporating more online programs into our day which has helped tremendously. Have a wonderful 2020!
