History is one of my favorite things to study. If you don’t know anything about history, it tends to repeat itself. I know that sounds cliche but it’s so true. We must learn about the different historical events and people in order to make a better world and make better decisions.

In today’s edition of Teaching Through Board Games, we are listing my favorite history-themed board games. These games will range from world history to American history (which is where I am from). There are probably country-specific board games to suit anyone’s needs. But I will be focusing only on world and American history games. These will also include geographical games (which are so fun to play).

Again, I will list the name of the board game, a link to purchase the game (just click on the name of the game and it will redirect you), the age recommendations, and the topic the game focuses on.

I could go on and on for days giving you lists of board games for history. This is a small list but I hope it will get you thinking about including history as part of your game night in the future. So much can be learned through play. Join me next time for the Bible Edition to Teaching Through Board Games.
