- Pick out online workout videos to try as a family.
- Learn to write with your non-dominant hand.
- Research your family tree.
- Learn a new chore.
- Create a summer bucket list.
- Call grandparents and relatives.
- As a family, cook a meal with each member in charge of a different course.
- Join or start a book club .
- Hold a board game tournament.
- Help your children plan a party.
- Visit an indoor water park.
- Go to a museum. Make it extra fun by creating a photo scavenger hunt beforehand.
- Plan a family vacation or create a wish list of places to visit.
- Clean out closets and drawers. Gather unwanted clothes and household goods and donate them to charity or sell them online.
- Go roller skating at an indoor rink.
- Go swimming at an indoor pool.
- Take an art class.
- Practice life skills such as babysitting, budgeting, properly answering the phone and taking a message, and writing “Thank you” cards.
