    Happy November :)

When my children were younger, every November 1st, I would draw a tree with multiple branches on large, plain newspaper print paper and tape it to the kitchen wall.(Usually 3-5 feet tall).

Then I would have my children (or help when younger) trace their handson multi-colored construction paper ( orange, yellow, red and brown). These “hand tracings’ became the leaves for the tree. Each day I would ask my children one thing they were thankful for, we would then write this on their “leaf” and tape it to the tree. At the end of November, we had a beautiful fall tree of Thankfulness.

Do you have any traditions for this time of year?
Would love to read your November traditions~it may provide inspiration to someone looking for ideas!
